SAVE THE TIGERS

IF NOTHING ELSE,THIS IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO......

Preliminary reports indicate that tiger numbers in India have declinedsharply from 3642 individuals in 2002 as per Project Tiger estimates tosomewhere around 1,500 tigers in 2007, a drop of a whopping 60%! The rangeof the tiger is reduced to a mere 7% what it was a hundered years ago.Indeed, wild tiger numbers may have reached a level from where recoverymay be near impossible if drastic measures are not taken on an urgentbasis. The time has come when every concerned citizen stands up in supportfor tigers in the wild.
To muster the support of citizens across India and the globe WWF-India, thecountry's largest non-governmental organization working for wildlifeconservation has started a signature campaign. To know more about WWF-Indiayou may visit our website at wwfindia.org.

stall 2007-pic

A picture of all the members of P.A.W.S. at d stall at hauz khas enclave.
it was a great success and we collected about Rs.6500. we have donated Rs.4500 to freindecos and the rest is being used to feed stray animals.


THE NEXT STAll will be in between the months of may and june and we will update more details when finalised.
